2011 11 03 The Audience Choice Award of the festival goes to "Dreaming Nicaragua"
The 5th edition of human rights film festival in Vilnius is over and as usually, the audience has been casting their voice for the best film. This year the Audience Choice Award goes to "Dreaming Nicaragua", an inspiring film by American filmmaker Marcelo Bukin, which won only with a slight number of votes against "Justice for Sergei" and "Crime after Crime".
2011 10 30 "Barzakh" has been chosen to close the festival
The 5th edition of the human rights film festival is coming to an end. In the evening of the October 30, the last screening of the festival will take place in "Skalvija" cinema. An award winning documentary “Barzakh” by Mantas Kvedaravičius has been chosen to close the festival. The film tells a story of disappearances in Chechnya and raised the question of personal responsibility of Vladimir Putin.
