The 5th edition of human rights film festival in Vilnius is over. As usually the viewers of the festival has been casting their votes for the film they loved the most during screenings in Vilnius. This year the Audience Choice Award goes to "Dreaming Nicaragua", an inspiring film by American filmmaker Marcelo Bukin, which won only with a slight number of votes against "Justice for Sergei" and "Crime after Crime".
The organisers of the festival were not too surprised with such decision. "The film has a very powerful and positive energy. One can fight extreme powerty with a smile and determination not to give up. I believe this strong message of the film inspired our viewers." - said festival director Gediminas Andriukaitis.
The international festival is now officially over, however, as each year, part of its program will travel to smaller towns in the format of traveling festival.
