The 8th edition of International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival "Inconvenient Films" was officially closed in Vilnius. International Jury announced their verdict, while 8500 viewers of Vilnius gave away their prize. The Jury decided to award 3 films from the competition. The first special mention was given to the film "Blood" (Кровь) by Alina Rudnitskaya, because, according to the Jury “it succeeds to do both - to come very close to its characters and to create a strong wider metaphor of the society they live in."
The 8th edition of international human rights documentary film festival "Inconvenient Films" in Vilnius will be closed tonight. The award ceremony will be followed by the screening of the Closing Night film - "Miners Shot Down" by Rehad Desai.
